Today I made my first crock pot meal - Chicken Tortilla Soup. At first it didn't look very good...

After it cooked a few hours it looked a little better.

It was actually very good! I took some of the chicken out to use in quesadillas, and Blake and I both really liked it! We'll be making it again for sure.

In March there is a big children's consignment sale put on by a local Mom's group. They asked me if I would like to advertise, and I jumped at the chance! These are the cards that will go in a goody bag for the sale's first 250 customers. I LOVE how they turned out! (The back is a coupon for $25 off a session fee.)

This is the huge pile of clothes I'm taking to the consignment shop today. My closet has so much more room!!

4 jeans, 3 sweaters, 6 long sleeve tops, 26 short sleeve tops, 3 capris, 2 skirts, 1 suit, 1 purse, 6 shoes and 5 belts. It's going to be interesting trying to carry all of that in the store!

Today was the last time I got to see Sara & Sophie until April :( Sophie was a little tired and decided to take a nap while we were in J.Crew.

My mom brought me a box of some old photos and school stuff. This is a picture of a picture, my scanner isn't working and I wanted to post this on facebook. 

(I'm sad that this is the only photo I took today. My mom stopped in on her way from Michigan to Tennessee, and an old friend came for dinner. Of course, I didn't take any photos while they were here.)

The company I got my camera bag from had a sale last week that just so happened to coincide with Valentine's Day :) Yay for me! I got TWO new covers! They came in today and I love them.

Sara and Sophie flew in from Florida tonight to spend a few weeks visiting Sara's mom. We met in Lexington at Olive Garden for dinner and Sophie is more precious than ever :)

I'm noticing a theme here - most of these photos have to do with food :) I've been on a bit of a baking kick lately! These were SO incredibly yummy. I used this recipe, but used canned cream cheese icing instead of making it from scratch because I was short on time.

On Sunday, we went to Blake's parent's house for his birthday lunch. This is Blake's oldest nephew, Will, enjoying some cake and ice cream.

Blake's favorite drink is Ale-8. It's a soda make in Kentucky, and I don't think you can even get it anywhere else. When we were getting groceries last week, we discovered that they now have Ale-8 salsa! As much as I hate Ale-8, the salsa is AMAZING! Our new favorite, for sure.
