These normally look much prettier, but the bag ripped* :(

*To make filling the eggs - and cleaning up! - easier, I make the yolk mixture in a ziplock bag. After it is mixed, I cut off one corner of the bag and use it to pipe the mixture into the eggs. So much easier than using a spoon!

Blake's birthday is this Saturday. I've had his presents wrapped and sitting on the coffee table since I got home on the 14th. It's driving him crazy and he finally talked me into letting him open one last night... season 1 of How I Met Your Mother. I think he liked it :)

See that little puppy in the corner? That's her "Mom, can I PLEEEEEASE have a Cheez-it?" face. I sure did miss her while I was on my trip!

I gathered empty frames from around the house and lined them up in front of the mirror on our mantle. I had to send a pic of it to my friend Sara & my mom to make sure it didn't look dumb :) I'm ordering prints from our session with Rich Smith Photography to use in the frames, and I can't wait for them to get here!! (You can also see my cute new Valentine's Day garland I got on vacation.)

I haven't been home since December 17th, so along with unpacking all of my suitcases, I'm also unpacking my Christmas gifts. My mom got me these penguin magnets for the refrigerator... love it!!

Blake's birthday is January 24th. I got his presents while I was in Florida and had to wrap them before I came home so he wouldn't peek. I sent him this so he could start getting excited :)

Ok, I've been slacking a little. In my defense, I have been on the road the past few days. I left Florida on Monday morning the 12th, drove 8 hours to Tennessee, spent the night and the day Tuesday. I left this morning (Wednesday the 14th) to head back to Kentucky and I am finally home after being gone for almost a month!

On to the photo of the day...

Saturday we headed to the University of Tampa campus to do a shoot for a friend's band. I think I took this while we were waiting for everyone to arrive. It's not the greatest shot, and I'm not even sure which building it is. But it counts as my photo of the day :)

Everyone keeps arguing with me about the name of this dessert, but my family calls it 'banana-less pudding.' It is the recipe for banana pudding, just without the bananas.

I forgot to take a picture today, and now it is 11pm. Not much to take a picture of when you're in a house full of sleeping people, but I am determined to succeed at this project! I cheated and took a PhotoBooth pic to show that I even support my favorite team with my pjs. (Its my blog/project so I'm allowed to cheat :) Ha!) It makes me laugh that its backwards.
